Jail Ministry

Each month, men and ladies from Mikado Baptist Church reach out to help hurting people by ministering to those who are incarcerated. Life behind bars gives one hours upon hours, days upon days, and months upon months to search for answers. The message of God's Word has the answer to mankind's problems, no matter how serious the nature. The sooner an inmate finds God's answers to his or her problems, the sooner a life will be changed for His glory.

The Great Commission compels the child of God to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. That "world" includes prison, and since the Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, it is our wonderful opportunity as Christians to share this life-changing news with the men and women in Middle Georgia's Law Enforcement Center.
