Outreach

Mikado Baptist Church is a place where new life begins. Jesus Christ is the giver of that life, and as believers we have the wonderful privilege to share Him with a world full of chaos and problems. Mikado is a soul-winning church, with a desire to see lost souls saved for the kingdom of God and for His glory.

We have several programs in place to implement the achievement of this worthy goal of winning souls to Christ. Our services are often evangelistic in nature, allowing for unbelievers to hear the Gospel in a clear and succinct manner. They are also given the opportunity to respond at each service. On Wednesday evenings, following a dinner and prior to the evening service, church members are given the opportunity to go on door-to-door soul-winning in areas surrounding our church. While results vary from week to week, we have seen God at work as we meet and talk with people in our community.

For those who accept Christ as their Savior, we offer a New Beginnings class that facilitates new believers and helps them during their firsts steps in their new walk with Christ.
